Woodland Hills Sunrise Little League is continuing our successful Challenger Division - adaptive baseball for all special needs children ages 5-18 years of age.

The Challenger Division was established by Little League in 1989 and aims to give mentally and physically challenged boys and girls the opportunity to enjoy the full benefits of participation in a Little League program structured to their abilities.  In addition to learning about the game of baseball, the value of the Little League Challenger Division is found in the proven therapeutic and socialization benefits of participating in sports: strengthening of participants’ self-esteem and the disciplines of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play.

Games/practices will be held on Sundays, commencing the first Sunday in March 2012, at 3:00 p.m. field 2.

Registration fee is $125.00.   Checks should be made payable to District 40
