8-10's take two games this weekend by blowouts!

The Woodland Hills 8-10yo All-Star team had a great weekend of baseball.

Saturday started off with a 29-5 victory over Canyon Country and they followed that up on Sunday with a 13-0 win over San Fernando.

Woodland Hills got excellent pitching from Charlie Day, Seabass Weber, and Graham Mussell.

Of the 8 innings played over the weekend, Woodland Hills pitchers recorded 23 of the possible 24 outs by strike out.

Saturday’s route of Canyon Country saw Emiliano Vargas and Seabass Weber each collect 6 RBIs; including an inside the park Home Run for Vargas. Brandon Iaccino, Charlie Day, and Graham Mussel also had multiple hits as well vs Canyon Country.

Sunday saw Logan Kaufman and James Pazzo both collect multiple hits. Kaufman went 2-2 with a double, single, walk, 4 RBIs, and 2 runs scored. Pazzo went 2-3 with a double, single, 1 run, 1 RBI.

Woodland Hills also received great contributions from Tyler Samson, Vale Weaver, Brendon Pacella, Charlie Tumpak, Seth Lee and Jesse Iaccino over the weekend.

It was a total team effort!

Next up…Woodland Hills will play Northridge this Saturday at 9:30am at Sherman Oaks Little League.
